You can also enter the Zoom Lobby and request a Breakout Room if you would like a place for a private conversation with another attendee.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Using Zoom<\/h3>\n<p>Live poster session discussions will take place on Zoom, and you can join with just one click.<\/p>\n<p>You may choose to <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/download\">download the Zoom desktop app<\/a> for Mac or PC, or you can join right from your web browser.<\/p>\n<p>To join a Zoom meeting with a presenter, visit the poster and click\u00a0<strong>Join Video Conference<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/agep\/files\/2021\/03\/poster-help-636x223.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"636\" height=\"223\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-474\" srcset=\"https:\/\/live.bu.edu\/agep\/files\/2021\/03\/poster-help-636x223.png 636w, https:\/\/live.bu.edu\/agep\/files\/2021\/03\/poster-help-1024x360.png 1024w, https:\/\/live.bu.edu\/agep\/files\/2021\/03\/poster-help-768x270.png 768w, https:\/\/live.bu.edu\/agep\/files\/2021\/03\/poster-help-1536x540.png 1536w, https:\/\/live.bu.edu\/agep\/files\/2021\/03\/poster-help.png 1864w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 636px) 100vw, 636px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A new tab will open in your web browser.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have Zoom desktop app installed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Open Zoom Meetings<\/strong> from pop-up, or\u00a0<strong>Launch Meeting<\/strong> from browser page.<\/li>\n<li>You will then enter the Zoom meeting. Your camera and microphone will be off upon joining. You can choose to turn them on, or use the chat to communicate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you prefer to use Zoom in your browser:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ignore the pop-up asking you to install Zoom, and click the link on the page that says &#8220;If you cannot download or run the application,\u00a0<strong>join from your browser.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>Sign in with your name to join the meeting.<\/li>\n<li>You will then enter the Zoom meeting. Your camera and microphone will be off upon joining. You can choose to turn them on, or use the chat to communicate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you need additional help, please email <a href=\"mailto:confreg@bu.edu\">confreg@bu.edu<\/a> and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. This email will be monitored during the live sessions.<\/p>\n<h3>Live Transcription<\/h3>\n<p>Live transcription is available in all Zoom Meetings with presenters.
