Ken Jones is a Senior Managing Director in the Global Risk & Investigations Practice at FTI Consulting supporting clients with operational risk, compliance and financial crime expertise. Ken spent a career with the US Postal Inspection Service, where he managed teams investigating child sexual exploitation, money laundering and other financial crimes. He held supervisory and executive-level positions before becoming the Deputy Chief Postal Inspector responsible for all criminal investigative programs. Subsequently, Ken was the Americas head of fraud risk and investigations, AML investigations, cyber crisis response and the financial intelligence unit (FIU) at UBS. Ken devoted his graduate level studies and research on the topic of child sexual abuse and has conducted research showing a statistically significant relationship between conducting child pornography investigations and uncovering child sexual abuse. The research was later used to justify Postal Inspection Service resources to support the development of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces. Ken has a MA in Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he is a certified anti-money laundering specialist (CAMS) and he is the Chairperson for the Economic Crime and Cyber-security Institute (ECCI) at Utica College.
