He has nearly two decades of professional experience in information security auditing, incident response, and digital forensics. He currently serves as a chief architect and CEO at ImmuniWeb, a global application security company with more than one thousand enterprise customers from over fifty countries. As a lawyer, his practice is primarily focused on data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity law. Dr. Kolochenko is also an adjunct professor of cybersecurity practice and cyber law at Capitol Technology University, and a faculty member at the DC Bar Continuous Legal Education (CLE) program, where he teaches cybersecurity and data protection for lawyers in Washington, DC. Additionally, Dr. Kolochenko is a fellow at the European Law Institute (ELI) and a fellow (FBCS) at the British Chartered Institute for IT. He is also a fellow of information privacy (FIP) and a privacy law specialist (PLS) at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), being two most advanced credentials by the IAPP in privacy practice and privacy law, respectively. He has authored more than sixty articles on cybersecurity, computer crime investigations, cyber law, and artificial intelligence in respected journals including the <em>New York Law Journal<\/em>, <em>Washington Lawyer<\/em>, and <em>Bloomberg Law<\/em>. Interviews and expert comments featuring Dr. Ilia Kolochenko have been published in over two-hundred-and-fifty media outlets in Europe and the US. He is a frequent speaker at cybersecurity, law enforcement, and legal conferences around the globe. Dr. Kolochenko is a vice-chair of the Information Security Committee at the American Bar Association (ABA) and a member of the board of appeals at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
