
Jennifer LaPrade
Associate Professor, Criminology, Missouri State University
Dr. Jennifer LaPrade is an associate professor and director of the Mock Trial program in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Missouri State University. As the Mock Trial coach, she has led her team to win over 87 team and individual awards at tournaments across the country in the last five years. Dr. LaPrade has a PhD in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a master’s degree in constitutional law and a bachelor’s degree in political science. Her research on courts, policing, and cybercrime has been published in national and international academic journals. LaPrade is currently leading a statewide research project on Missouri courts and also works with the Midwest Innocence Project on wrongful convictions.
