Dr. Insun Park is an associate professor of criminal justice studies at the University of Akron whose research sits at the intersection of cybercrime, emerging technology, and law. She holds both a PhD and a JD, and has published on AI-driven cybercrime risks, robotic law enforcement, and facial recognition regulation, and co-authored a textbook on cybercriminology. Certified in OSINT investigation, dark web intelligence, cryptocurrency crime, blockchain forensics, and AI policy, she bridges academic research and operational practice. She serves on the advisory board of the Center for Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity (Center for CIC) and bridges technical, legal, and policy dimensions of cybercrime to advance evidence-based solutions.
