Insun Park

Insun Park, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the Departments of Criminal Justice Studies and Sociology at the University of Akron. She has interdisciplinary training in law, psychology, and criminal justice and has conducted research on juvenile delinquency, cybercrime investigation training, and justice reform initiatives. She previously worked as a violent crime investigator at the Korean National Police Agency and is currently an advisory board member of the Center for Cybercrime Investigation & Cybersecurity (CIC), where she contributes to discussions on cybercrime, digital forensics, and technology’s intersection with the criminal legal system.
